While it’s great to play golf occasionally with friends or as part of a social club, becoming a member of an ACT Monaro District golf club provides lots of additional benefits.
As the member of a local golf club, you can play as often as you like without paying green fees. And you have free access to the golf club’s practice facilities. With golf club membership comes the ability to get an official handicap and play in the club’s regular competitions and championships. Your handicap also enables entry into the many open competitions across the District and across the country. Many clubs also have reciprocal rights at other golf clubs around Australia and sometimes with clubs overseas.
Most clubs in the District enable membership without paying any nomination or joining fees. They increasingly provide a range of flexible membership options to suit the circumstances of different people who may have more or less time available for golf.
But the best part of becoming the member of a local golf club is the camaraderie that membership provides.
There are 22 clubs in the ACT Monaro District. Details on membership arrangements can be obtained via the links below.
