The Gold Creek A Grade team was too strong for the Goulburn team today at Royal Canberra in the Division 1 Pennant Final, and finished the contest with a 5.5 to 1.5 win. Once four of the matches had been decided in Gold Creek’s favour the other 3 matches were called draws. Winners for Gold Creek were #7 player Adam Harris (4&3), #6 player Bryan Kelly (4&2) #5 player Nathan Rees (2&1) and #3 player Scott Fogg (4&3).

The Royal course was in magnificent condition and the warm and calm day made for some impressive tee shots and also mid irons into the lush greens.

The DGA sincerely thanks RCGC for hosting the event and also for arranging for this pinnacle of the Pennant season to be played in singles format.

This is the final event for the 2021 Pennant season. DGA Captain Jim Jackson would like to thank all Club Captains for their assistance throughout the season and the support of all of the Clubs involved.
