Royal Canberra defeated Yass 5-2 in the A Grade Division 2 final held at Fairbairn on Sunday.

Like all venues in Canberra, conditions were difficult with strong winds and cold temperatures.  Fairbairn, especially the back nine, seemed particularly exposed to the 50km/hr westerly winds through the middle part of the day.   The course was well presented and the Fairbairn Committee did a good job in fulfilling its host venue responsibilities.

Congrats to Royal Canberra for a successful season, and our thanks to Fairbairn and their team for hosting the final.
